My Story

First, don’t judge me by the work desk. I will be the first to admit it is a mess. But being this creative has it’s drawbacks. One of them is that I just cannot keep my desk organized. What started as a hobby to manage my anxiety has quickly become a passion. I dream customization and engraving. I can’t even walk into a store to grocery shop without looking at everything and wondering “Can I engrave that?” Thank goodness everyone in the house likes bananas, they are a great practice substrate for engraving names into!

Creativity takes courage. - Henri Matisse

I burn things too. Like that one time, I tried to make a 3D whale out of clear acrylic but wanted to use as much of the material board as possible. Needless to say, I got a little too close to the edge. Thankfully I caught the mishap in time and just needed to blow out the flames. When I am not catching materials on fire (seriously, it doesn’t happen that often and I do have a fire extinguisher right next to the machine) I am taking ordinary items and turning them into personable keepsakes. Sometimes it as simple as placing a company logo on a stainless steel tumbler. Then there are the really creative projects like the 10-year anniversary box with the cosmic engraving inlaid with powdered aluminum.
